I was at Home and thought I had wet myself cause I was wearing bright pink pants but then I looked down at my cream shorts and there’s was a small blood stain and I knew what it was I was in year 6 (now yr 7) so I told my mum but in yr5 we had the talk and well I asked dose it hurt and my teacher said so times but it’s not that bad and now I have it it hurts soo bad

I remembered asking my mom what are sanitary pads used for when I was young, and she told me to shut up. I asked a friend and he told me that its a diaper that women use XD. Long story short, I had no idea that girls experience period from puberty until middle school when I learnt about sexual reproductive system.

One time in fourth grade I was heading outside for field day practice and one of the supervisors said you have a spot on the back of your shorts (I was wearing white…)and that’s how I bled through my pants in the FOURTH GRADE✨😂😂✨😂

My first period was so awkward ahhh! (I got my first in April this year!) I'm so lucky I was educated on it before it happened otherwise I would've panicked. I'm still finding it hard to manage though 😅

There's a youtube video of a social experiment where a young girl is outside in the city and she is wearing white pants and she has a red blood spot, and the idea is how will people react, and several different girls and women stopped by to help her, like tie her coat around her waste so it wouldn't show and explain to her, and I thought it was so nice.

My embarrassing period incident story : I was at Disney with my family and my parents friends family and I got my period, well there isn’t that many options to change when you are in line, so we were on a boat ride and as soon as the ride was over I got up and my pad leaked I was so embarrassed that I cried and it kind of ruined my whole day.

The tragedy in the video story is that this girl needed to be informed by a school counselor after the accident happen, like the girl had no idea about periods. That's really irresponsible of her parents, especially when all they have to do is point their daughter to online educational materials like SamK's videos if they're too embarrassed to discuss it with her themselves.

Im still waiting for a period luckily, i know what a period is my parents havent given me "The talk" because they say my schools teacher in health can explain it better so yeah... Im in fourth grade ( technically fifth) and in my school they start educating u on things like that in 4th-5th grade and it continues on also my sister already got her period so yeah she has also talked to me abt periods and stuff. And yeah and i actually think my school is right for doing that since some people get their periods at 8 y/o .
