BIOS REV F4d! Man I set the saturation on extra ginger on this one. Keep in mind these are moon shot settings for an overclock. I think it should be possible to get 4.3 Ghz on most of these chips all core with a decent enough Mobo and cooling. I hope this helps some of y'all out. I'll try to answer as many questions as possible!

Regarding the Bearded Hardware guy's comment on 3800 MT/s RAM speeds, he immediately states in your clip that he raised his IF speed to 1900mhz which makes it still 1:1 with the RAM speeds (1900x2 = 3800).

Didn't AMD say that DDR4 3733 MHz memory should work in 1:1 mode with Ryzen 3000's Infinity Fabric?

Thank you so much for this! I managed to get a 4.3GHz clock @ 1.3V with a massive be quiet air cooler, maxing out at around 65°C. My memory isn't that great so I didn't get that low of timings, but still lower than usual!

I’m running a 3900x on air at all core 4325 at 1.25v. Must have won the golden ticket. I’m using the x570 Tuf gaming plus mb.

Just so you know if you doing anything on your pc other than letting it idle its stuffing 1.4v to the vcore on default, higher if you use pbo. I found the only differences on default were.
1.you running the higher voltage marginally less depending on weather you leave you pc on all the time or switch off when not in use.
2. You get about 200mhz more out of the chip in manual oc.
My chip
Default and pbo both achieve 4.2-3ghz on all cores simultaneously whilst delivering 1.4-1.45v to the core
When I set voltage manually @1.4v
The chip will bench 4.4ghz
@1.45v 4.55ghz will bench.
I am using a custom water cooling loop and core temperatures don't exceed 60c

Just wanna let you know, with the 3900x and a Noctua NH-D15, I was able to hit 4.2 ghz, at 1.25V, on a b450m Mobo. Idle is around 33-40c, and load is around 55-65c, depending on task. (Game, benchmark, stress, ect). And thanks for the video! :D

From an enthusiast standpoint, the OCing is disappointing, but I tend to look at it as PBO now being a great option which is perfect for power savings and what not without losing any tangible performance.

I think it's best to do this on a per motherboard basis. They can vary wildly.

I've just put together my sys and fired it up like 21-20 hrs ago. x570 taichi went under this 3700x (original plan was 3900x but not enough patience.. so I may upgrade when 12-16 cores zen 3 will be available - not out of stock).
I didn't change anything except setting ram speed and the overcklock is enabled, not forced. Under Atlas mmorpg I had 7 cores reaching 4.4 whilst the remaining one at 4.35. Worth to mention: Cooler Master h500 case, Noctua nh-u14s cooler

Wow Zen2 is INSANE. Can't wait for the more interesting Extreme Platform X699 (or so) for Threadripper! Gonna try to get a binned one and just go for Precision boost, IF and RAM overclocking!
