I believe, to say the LHC from CERN is the biggest Collider is only partially true. It's the biggest man made collider, but there is one, much bigger than LHC. and that's the earth with it's own magnetic field. Particles from outer space reach sometimes velocities near the speed of light, than catched by gravity and magnetic field when passes through the system of the sun and directed around the earth, colliding with other particles.
