Redmi K30 (POCO X2) Review - Pros, Cons & Everything Else!

This is my review of the Redmi K30 where we I talk about my experience with this phone after spending about two weeks with it as my primary smartphone.

The Redmi K30 comes with a 6.67 inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a Full HD+ Resolution. This time its a dual punch hole for the 20MP selfie camera and 2MP depth sensor. There is no in display fingerprint sensor as it has been moved to the side of the device underneath the power button.

Internally the Redmi K30 is powered by the Snapdragon 730G chip and is paired with 6/8 GB RAM and 64/128/256GB of UFS 2.1 storage.

We also have a 4500mAh battery here and for charging Redmi have provided a 27 Watt Fast Charger in the box.

As for cameras, the Redmi K30 has a quad camera setup to the back. We have the new 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor with a f1.89 lens that’s the primary, then there’s second 8MP ultrawide secondary followed by 2MP depth and macro sensors!

The Redmi K30 runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10.

Xiaomi Should provide 90hz AMOLED(and priced at 20k) instead of 120 hz ips lcd
And there is no need of dual punch hole.
But if redmi launched it at 17k then they will nail the pricing.

Yes good review, I like the fact that you acknowledged for price to be reduced something must go for it. I hope to Indian version should have the dedicated SD card slot, Xiaomi has really brought flagship features to midrange. Your review was detailed enough. Thanks

I don't understand why all these youtubers and consumers complaining about lcd screen on a smartphone. Most of people who buy this budget phone owns laptop or pc with lcd screen. Why these people didn't complain about 15 inch lcd screen but complaint about 6 inch of lcd screen on a smartphone? Shouldn't you buy an oled screen laptop or monitor if you really care about the visual quality because of the larger size screen ? And just for a small 6 inch screen you complaint almost in every youtube videos about lcd screen?

I don't think many people will care about moving from amoled to LCD, not many people will notice in every day usage I also don't care about what the phone is made of as long as it won't fall apart I use a case on my phones anyways. It seems like this K30 is getting a lot of hate it's a great phone all these reviews seem the exact same. I'm coming from a OnePlus 7 Pro with a 90hz display to this 120hz display it's not the 730g it's MIUI that's not optimized enough that's what's causing the lag.

Just for 120 hz display
k20 was better better display no notch flagship processors mainly no addd dam that was top notch that’s why its price not even gone low even 1rs

Redmi is always doing something different and provide flagship smartphones and this one is awesome
