Hey Everyone!
Today's video is quite a fun, experimental one. Botanical printmaking is a great method for printmaking, as well as collecting natural textures that can be used for the background for art pieces, or used as part of a collage. With spring just around the corner, you'll also have much more choice when foraging for plants to use with this method - just make sure you're not taking plants from private property or your grandparents favourite flowers. This method is also great for reportage, to document specific locations or the changing seasons.

Similar to most printmaking methods that you can do at home, the technique is quite experimental, so the key is to just have little expectation of an outcome and have fun :)

List of stuff you’ll need-

-Tetra Pak Carton (milk or fruit juice carton)
- Printmaking ink (oil or waterbased)
- Ink Roller
- Paper (Preferably thin, I use printer paper)
-Newspaper / Scrap Paper
- Inking Plate (not essential)
-Scissors
-Foraged Plants

The only specialist piece of equipment used in this tutorial is a relief ink roller, although you could be resourceful and find an alternative way to roll out your ink/paint. If you wish to purchase your own ink roller (they can be quite reasonably priced) I’ve listed some links below where you can purchase one-
Amazon- you’re likely to find similar supplies on here but it’s recommended to buy from specialist art suppliers
You can also use these sites to purchase relief inks. If you do, please buy water-based inks, as they will be easier to clean up and are less likely to stain surfaces.

This is another great guide, I love how accessible the techniques you show are using stuff you might have around the house like milk bottles
