I love the "inside these pages you just hold me" part

He was amazing. In heart, spirit, experience and made me feel alive. I have never felt like that without drugs. The sound of his voice hits harder than his slaps. He has been through trauma like me and he always asks me not to leave. How can I abandon him when everybody else abandoned me who judged me. I know him like how he knows me. There is no more greater synchronization than two peoples intuition from an upbringing of poverty, molestation and loneliness. Thank you Ed for speaking my words. Home is good. A clean bed.

**Title: The Echoes of Time**

**Characters:**
- **Past Self (Penny)**: A reflective young woman grappling with the choices she made in her early twenties.
- **Present Self (Paige)**: A determined and slightly anxious individual navigating the complexities of adulthood.
- **Future Self (Piper)**: A wise and confident version of Paige, who has learned from both her past experiences and present challenges.

---

**Setting:** A quiet café, where Paige sits alone with a notebook, sipping coffee. The atmosphere is calm, but her mind is a whirlwind of thoughts.

---

**Monologue Begins:**

**Penny (Past Self)**: *Hey, Paige. It’s me, well, you—just a few years younger. I know you’re feeling the pressure to succeed right now, but remember, it’s okay to stumble. Every misstep is a lesson. I wish I’d taken more risks instead of worrying about what others thought. Trust me, that art class you skipped? It could have opened doors!*

**Paige (Present Self)**: *I hear you, Penny. But it’s so hard to let go of the fear. I’m in this job that feels suffocating, and I dread the thought of making a leap into the unknown. What if I fail?*

**Piper (Future Self)**: *Oh, Paige, listen to me. Fear is just a mirage. It will always be there, lurking, but it doesn’t define you. I’ve faced failures and heartbreaks, but each one has shaped me into who I am now. I traveled, I explored, and I embraced the chaos of life. Those experiences? They’re gold. So, take that leap! You won’t regret it.*

**Penny**: *You know, I spent too much time comparing myself to others. I thought success looked a certain way—like a straight path. Spoiler alert: it’s not! Life is messy and unpredictable. Own your journey. Write that novel!*

**Paige**: *But what if it’s terrible? What if no one reads it?*

**Piper**: *Paige, art is subjective. The value lies in the creation, not the audience. I can tell you that the moments of vulnerability, the ones that feel raw and uncomfortable? They’ll resonate the most. So write fearlessly!*

**Penny**: *And don’t forget to enjoy the little things. I was so focused on the future that I neglected the beauty of the present. Cherish your friendships, those late-night talks, and spontaneous adventures. They’re the memories that’ll sustain you when times get tough.*

**Paige**: *You both make it sound so simple. I want to believe you. I really do. But what if I take your advice and it leads me down a path I can’t come back from?*

**Piper**: *There’s no “can’t come back” in life, only “can learn from.” You’ll always have the power to pivot. Just be open to the journey. And remember, there’s no failure—only feedback.*

**Penny**: *Yes! Fear is just the mind’s way of trying to protect you. Challenge it. You’ll discover your strength in the most unexpected places. I wish I had realized that sooner!*

**Paige**: *Alright, I’ll try… I’ll start writing again. And maybe I’ll sign up for that art class. What do I have to lose?*

**Piper**: *Exactly! Take that first step. You’re not just living for today; you’re weaving the tapestry of your future. And remember, we’re all connected—your past, present, and future selves. Trust in that connection.*

**Penny**: *You’ve got this, Paige! Embrace the uncertainty and let it fuel your creativity!*

**Paige**: *Okay, let’s do this together. For all three of us!*

---

**Monologue Ends.**

**Narrative Reflection:** As Paige scribbles her thoughts onto the pages, a sense of calm washes over her. The echoes of her past and future selves remind her that life is not just about the destination but the journey itself—each moment a brushstroke on the canvas of her existence.
