Mo Pitney's Standing Ovation

When Mo Pitney sings "let me tell you about country" in his debut single, he's doing more than telling. He's showing. What an awesome talent this guy Mo Pitney is ... and so humble. You can tell he really loves and respects the history of country music and the Opry. I just pray that Curb Records does the right thing by him and let him stay true to his country roots and keep reocrding, releasing and promoting him.

We were there. I later heard a standing ovation is a very rare occurrence for a newbee. My feeling about the night was people did this for him, not just because they loved him and his song but, because they were welcoming the return of a traditional country music song.
