Dr. Leslie Dewan: THE PROMISE OF NEXT GENERATION NUCLEAR

THE FUTURE OF ENERGY SUMMIT 2016- Transatomic Power Corporation co-founder and CEO, Dr. Leslie Dewan begins her talk by saying, “I became a nuclear engineer because I am an environmentalist. I think that we need nuclear power alongside solar, wind and other renewables if we want to meet our carbon reduction goals and avoid the widespread environmental devastation caused by fossil fuels.”

Dr. Dewan introduces new nuclear technology that can recycle the world’s nuclear waste (270,000 tons) and produce power for entire planet for 72 years.

I'm so glad to see this issue is being addressed!

Futilely fought against nuclear in favor of alternative all my life. Hopefully this brilliant younger generation can finally win that environmental war and create health for all out of the mess the boomers are leaving behind.

As such, you can't imagine my relief to see such brilliant minds creating the better tomorrow my generation promised but didn't deliver.
