Thinking of getting the old man a one of these for Christmas but I'm wondering what a good (and fairly recent) model is going to be for under £150. I'm also concerned with companies locking you into only using certain file types (like apple). Which I think is very snide for the record considering people do jailbreak them so you 'can' actually...but anyway. Can you recommend a good model or two that plays most regular files types like avi, mkv, mp4 and such?

It will only be a laptop killer if it can have more powerful and have more storage space. It has potential though.

tbh 3g tablets are wasted money...you can now pair up your mobile signal from your phone to the wifi tablet.

Give me a tablet that I can install windows 7 and use pirated software on it (games, apps...) and il be happy xD
