I grew up there.
The pronunciation used in this video is better than many others, but still not quite it.
Most Maryland natives barely pronounce the final consonant (d) - so Mair-uh-luhn is about as close as can be written/explained.
Even within Maryland, natives have slightly different pronunciations by region.
In the Baltimore accent, it sounds like the name of a wizard - "Merlin". They pronounce their city's name without a T sound - "Ball-ih-mer".

It’s not Mary-land the first syllable is pronounced like air mair-land not Mary land - Marylander

Someone should tell Transport for London. They pronounce it Mar-ee-land.

Nope. You don’t pronounce the D at the end. It’s “merilin.” And you barely pronounce the first i. This is from a Maryland native who’s live here his entire life
