Here are the steps to activate DLSS 4 in RDR 2 :
1. If you have previously downloaded the Nvidia app, uninstall it and Install the latest version again.
2.you should be at least on the 572.16 drivers.
3. Go to the Graphics tab in the Nvidia app and select any game you want. If your game is not showing up you can click the three vertical dots and click Refresh or you can choose the exe file manually.
4. Select your game and look for DLSS Override - Model Presets and select Latest. This will enable DLSS 4, then look for DLSS Override - super resolution and select DLAA. This will enable DLAA in games that have DLAA enabled at driver level but not ingame. Enjoy and feel free to ask if you face any problems

DLSS4 Quality on 4K looks better than native 4K because of inherent anti-aliasing with DLSS which looks perfectly sharp without being too sharp or muddy. It's just perfecly clear.

I mean this is pointless. You lose so much data on YouTube compression that you cant really see it. And you cant judge it. In person DLSS4 is insane.

For those who think that CPU is "burning"-those CPUs are made to operate at 90 degrees without any throttling. You hit a silicone lottery if you have it below 75 and not undervolted. It's absolutely fine.

DLSS wouldn't imapct "water physics". It's upscaling technology. The physics would be calculated at a lower resolution for both DLSS 3 and 4 all the same.

The difference is rendering quality and reducing artifacts.

Very minor and a lot of the lighting differences, can be attributed to the difference in time of day and cloud cover. But It is fun to geek around with it, on older cards using the DLSS Swapper.

Good video for comparison! but noticed lot people in comments mentioned you're cpu temps.... suggestion update bios as was stability update for all users plenty of videos online how to.... see if you can undervolt cpu if you can.... try these settings VCORE 1.200v and DVID -100 then CPU VCORE LLC on if you can find power limits settings change them to 235w

Its the transformer method theyre using instead of the old cnn model. It makes dlss upscaling at more aggressive resolutions look much closer to native than ever.
