She evaluated Erik for 50+ hours and unequivocally said that he was someone that had been severely abused, and she firmly believes that the brothers acted in what they genuinely believed to be self defence, out of fear, terror and desperation

I remember the disturbing drawings Erik drew of the molestation for Dr. Ann Burgess. And people think their mother Kitty was a saint but the full trial from back then is still on youtube. Where Erik takes the stand and says that Kitty would pop each blister on his penis then send him on his way like nothing happened. Lyle said she molested him as well from 11-13 years of age and wouldnt let him date and would behave like a jealous girlfriend. What broke my heart the most is when erik and lyle's cousins said they heard screams from them when they would come over and Kitty would turn up the volume on the tv to block it out. They say you feel failure as a parent if your child dies before you but the biggest F is your kids ending up killing you due to years of mistreatment.
