The DOJ should sue themselves for making the market ant-competitive.
RealPage is exactly what competition looks like. Yes, rent prices are high. So are prices of everything. High rent prices are caused by the lack of growth due to the expensive litigious and regulatory environment. That, and a host of other economic factors that RealPage and these companies have no control over. Companies want to make money. The government's role in that is to incentivize doing that in a way that promotes economic growth. But instead, they are just suing anyone who makes money.
