Kyiv, Ukraine - Virtual City Tour - Cathedral of Sophia Kievskaya

Walking tour of Kiev in Ukraine. We continue to explore the historic city center of Kiev, and today we will go on the excursion to Cathedral of Sophia Kievskaya. This is the temple built in the first half of the 11th century in the center of Kiev, according to the chronicle, by Prince Yaroslav the Wise at the site of the victory over the Pechenegs in 1036. Before we visit this cathedral, we will walk along Vladimerskaya street, see the architecture of local buildings. Then we will reach the Sofia Square, on which the monument to Bogdan Khmelnitsky is located - this is place that is the landmark of Kiev city. It was raining on the street, but it did not stop me from recording this video.
