Love your little paintings, how fun size. MT will be the best brand washi, as they are the original company who created washi tape in Japan.

Scotch magic tape is the best I’ve ever found for clean lines for all sorts of mediums - watercolour, acrylic - even alcohol ink. You can get them in packs of 8 which is handy. The points on those brushes!
And I adore your new palette choices... If this isn’t too personal a comment, I like to think your life blossoming once more, and your rapidly accelerating growth as an artist in the last couple of years is being played out in your broadening colour and material choices. You’ve _always_ been talented, Natasha, but you’re seriously off the charts in recent times — brava, bella! 🖤

I’ve put the Betty Hayways brushes on my Christmas Wish List. I’m in U.S. but international shipping is free for purchases over £49 and I think I’ll meet that! You’ve convinced me that these brushes are really great and I can see that in your painting. Thanks!

I love these favourites videos, it's another glimpse behind the scenes which is always inspiring to see.I use thar same brand of washi tape, it really does lift brilliantly when gently heated. The palette of pencils and pitt ens you created really works, again it shows that you do have a real gift for putting colours/palettes together.Lovely to see the little paintings too in the new colours, showing a new boldness in your style that really works. My partner Craig gifted me (for Pride month) a set of the Betty Hayways brushes, and I think they will become a staple for me as well along with the Prolene pro arte brushes that thanks to you are now a staple of mine.Your final main palette of watercolours looks amazing it really does and you have created some amazing pieces with it. The exhibition of David Hockneys Normandy lockdown i-pad paitings is still on in London untill september 23rd. My friend Sarah went along and she gifted me the exhibition catalogue which has been made in the same size and shape as an i-pad! I love how he still innovates in his work and his colours seem to be brighter in his newsest pieces.I am hoping to travel to London soon and want to go to the exhbition. I too love typography and scripts always have and often make pieces of work using words as art. Hope these favourites videos become a regular video as they are really inspiring and it's great to haer your insights on the colours you choose and the mediums and other items you like to work with.It makes us apprciate your amazing artwork more because we get to see what you use to create it and the works show the brilliant results.
P.s I will update you on my lightfast tests for all my handmade watercolours including the metallic ones .My copies of those beautiful books by Patrick Baty arrived recently too, the comanion one "The Anatomy Of Colour:The Story Of Heritage Paints And Pigments" is also a stunnng book and really fascinating to read and look through, if you do have the chance to treat yourself to this book, it is well worth the price, and it will really inspre you for sure, Both books together are really something special and I love them and have ideas already inspired by both of them.

Ohh I love this monthly favorites videos idea Natasha! Your color choices are so in line with my own & David Hockney is one of my biggest inspirations also.. Such a nice way to start a Saturday morning hearing your lovely voice too.

I use as a masking tape something that might surprise many of you but it's the simplest scotch magic invisible tape. It not only works perfectly, It never tears the watercolor paper AND it's acid free and if you want to give or even sell your art, it's important to avoid any acidity on the paper. It must be the simplest one though, I don't know if the other types are acid free or not. Fantastic video Natasha, thank you. I love your colors and aesthetics.

Ususally I don't like the favourites videos, but this one was sooo calming to watch. My favourites were the showcasing of the brush pens, it's such a beautiful colour selection and your little landscapes are just beautiful! And the books in the end. The script book had many medieval documents pictured as examples and this is something I just love - for a tiny moment I thought I might look them up from what documents the examples come from. :) Really my cup of tea. Thank you so much :)

This was great fun to watch, Natasha. The books are really gorgeous too! I've just recently started experimenting with the inktense pencils and am amazed at how very strong the colours are when wetted. I have to get used to the way they change my work! Thanks for this thoughtful video💗

Hello Natasha, thank you for sharing. Can you make a video about how you organize and store pencils? By color? By brand? By water/non watercolor properties? Thank you!
