Watched this video again and again. Not a lot of couples (in my opinion) know how to maintain a connection without physical touch the way Stefano and Dasha display so well here. Worthy, worthy champions.

They just make dancing look and feel easy. Some might say its a bit underwhelming, but they are doing no more and no less than the music is asking for, but that's what good musical dancing is about.. What Stefano can do with music is a treat to watch. This is a good old fashioned piece of real latin music and the connection with them and the music accentuating those little rhythmic nuances is what you don't see in most dancers today. Its all show and go but not alot of feel. and those circular walks Dasha does at 1.03 are fast, slick, sexy and eyepopingly good. This girl has improved so much and has become one very sexy, dynamic little package and she don't play second fiddle to him which would be easy to do because he's such a showman. Been looking forward to this and it was so worth the wait. Thank you dance today, cant wait for the others now. I notice some people in the audience understandably wearing masks so hope and pray for the sake of world health that this abhorrent viral pandemic is eradicated quickly and doesn't affect Blackpool, because nothing should deny this couple the opportunity to win the worlds most prestigious event which they deserve and have waited an eternity for. Love and blessings to you both.

I feel like there's a new confidence in Dasha that I've not noticed before now. She's beautiful, they're beautiful together, and very well-matched.

Also, that section from 1:03 to about 1:10 is an example of an excellent physical connection. All those tiny little movements were well coordinated between the two of them. Amazing stuff.
