Remember, we are created in the image of our heavenly parents. We don’t know much about our
Heavenly Mother. We don’t know what she looks like or even much about who she is as an

Our Heavenly mother is being protected from all earthly vulgarities, but my personal opinion, when a spirit came to support the savior in his highest point of agony and pain in gethsemane, it is powerful and special to imagine His Heavenly Mother there to support him and give him strength to suffer for all earthly pains, affliction and sin. 😊

It’s so strange to me how Christians and Muslims in a broad sense conceptualize God more similarly to New Age hippy stuff about “the Universe” than to our understanding of the nature and character of God. I’m so glad to know the eternal significance of embodiment 🙏

You should check it out if so! also there is a video with Margret Barker who is from England and not a member, who has studied ancient religions and has found her EVERYWHERE and also a ton of evidence she was removed from many texts including the bible :D

The Book of Mormon literally provides us the path to return to the presence of our Mother.

She fills the pages of Proverbs. She lives in the writings of Isaiah, which we are commanded to study. Jeremiah and Ezekiel outline the path to our ascension into the presence of The Tree. She is ever, just beyond the veil, ready to embrace us, to gather us in. She’s right there when we look for Her.

Okay, I’m going to blow your mind even more in this 😅
So, gender is eternal and Joseph Smith said that our intelligence is eternal (no end and no beginning) just always exists. So, God didn’t create our intelligence and therefore He didn’t create or assign us a gender! You have always existed as a female! 😃God took the elements (which also just exist and are eternal) and organized them with intelligence and created our spirits and then our bodies which encompasses a “soul”. Every single cell of our bodies has element and intelligence that God put together, organized/created. Our spirits too, just a spiritual matter or element rather than physical matter.
Reading the Pearl of Great Price and Joseph Smith discourses on this revelation he received from the Lord is so beautiful, fascinating and amazing!!

I always felt 'secret ' is not the word. I feel the word is 'sacred'. If God spoke more about our Heavenly Mother, it sets her up for being used in a profane manner. I believe our leaders have made it clear there is a Heavenly Mother. Women have struggled on this planet and have been maligned, abused, seen as less, etc. for millenia. Possibly it is best she is kept sacred and not elaborated on too much in this sordid world. I don't know.

The gospel is built on families towards exaltation. Neither a man without the woman nor woman without the man in the Lord. To obtain exaltation, a man must enter into the holy order of the matrimony of marriage.

I think our doctrine on Eternal Families leads to a lot of the same conclusions-- we are made to be in families! Forever!
