2006 Honda CRF250r starting issue

Check the bottom of the diaphragm pump on the carb if there is a flat head screw on the bottom turn said screw one turn out. That said screw is an aftermarket part and if tuned incorrectly the bike will be insanely hard to start also check yr stator especially on a fresh rebuild sometimes the stator will get mettle dust on it and cause no spark if it is dirty clean it and it should fix it

Dude, that bike has some fuel delivery issues! I worked on Yamaha’s both at home and a dealer in a capital city. One kick with choke on usefully got the started. Unless, there is more to the story I don’t know. Why, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and all other design the to start with a kick only!

They have a problem with the decompressor, the spring on them is really tight wich causes the decompressor to push on the Exhaust valves and opens them briefly while trying to kick start it because there is not enough gravitational force when rotating the enginge while kicking or idling

i mean there’s three things air fuel and spark, clean the carb and check ur spark plug
