Let's not forget that even in the show, Mohammed never spoke badly about Danielle (smelling issues, etc). He still tried to be nice despite her obsessive behaviour.

I can't understand how people can stand on Danielle's side. She's clearly an over attached and a clinging person, she acts desperately and immaturely, she's in denial because she thinks that she can fix the situation, she's the kind that insist to remain in the ex's life just to keep in contact and re-emerge every now and then to test if the waters are calm enough to retry to rebuild something that is dead already
