This is on Oahu, my classmate did a thesis presentation for English, and he used this place as an example, it was actually on Hawaiis real estate prices, and how locals can barely afford local housing

I lived in Hawaii for 2 years and honestly, the homeless people there are so nice. When I went scuba diving, my instructor said to not worry about the homeless people taking your stuff because they are actually there making sure no on else takes anything. Super nice people.

Being from Hawaii, this makes me very proud - Hawaiian’s are some of the nicest people, have such big hearts & are beautiful inside & out! Love how they look out for each other 🙏🏻🌺🥰

It’s actually crazy how expensive Hawai’i is - the natives can’t afford to live there anymore. It’s a blessing they have the fortification within their culture to establish a secure community. These people are not homeless, that is their home

Here in Hawaii we treat homeless people absolutely terribly. I've heard of this place and it seems wonderful, definitely a breath of fresh air compared to all the negativity and stigma surrounding our homeless community.

In Hawaii, houses are so incredibly expensive that many homeless prefer the term "houseless" because they still hold jobs and everything.

I love how they didn't left each other in their hard times rather they choose to be together and face it together and that's rare nowadays people love to live alone so that they can get everything to their own and don't have to share it with someone else.
