I own the stargazer version. I really like it. I can't compare it to other bell tents but my experiences with backpacking tents and tarps tells me it s of good quality. I also spent over a week in it and experienced high winds and rains and stayed very dry! The condensation lingers a while longer on the plastic/clear window material but its a neat feature and let's a ton of light into the tent, which also heats and drys it out.

HI. Curious to find out what tent brand gas held up the best for your commercial use? We also run a glamping business in South Africa and are now testing a US brand for our bell tents..

Interesting point about the floor feeling thinner than Canvas Camp. I'm shopping between the two and would plan on having this tent up for several months at a time, so durability is key. I do like that Stout has the tent stove jack already installed though.

Hey Kenny great video…my niece wants me to set up my tent for bday she’s turning 6. What would be a good option when you have to pitch a tent and there is a sidewalk you can’t avoid which makes the ground unleveled? I hope you can help.

Is there a lot of maintenance involved with canvas tents?

We use stout and overall like them. They’ve all I’ve used, so nothing to compare to. The bags are definitely not lasting as they are stating to tear where the handles attach. And I’ve bent several of the ground stakes. As for the tents themselves, so far so good.

based on this video, I would not consider stout for our business. Once our tents are up, we don't take them down unless we need to do a repair. For us, the issue we experience with all the brands to date are that the zips tend to go first and then the mesh.. its a shame nature hike don't make a classic bell tent because their overall quality is the best I've seen. We are excited about the US brand we have just starting using.. great quality
