There is a toggle in Google setting if you are using screen guard.Please activate it.

I'm using spigen screen protector and I didn't even have to register it again after it is installed. It works even without activating screen protector mode. Your screen protector is the issue, not the phone. Get a branded one and it should work.

You still use fingerprint sensor add new fingerprint than works

The reason is pixel 9 pro has no optical fingerprint scanner optical fingerprint scanner lights up when you touch the fingerprint area no matter if you are using tempered glass

You have to add finger print sensor after screen gaurd

I faced this issue with tempered glass
But after changing the tempered to screen guard. It went away

I'm having the same freakn Issue.. Even if u tick the Screen Protector mode in Settings and Re register the fp. It just wont work as flawlessly.. I think a spigen screen protector would work.. but it costs like 1.3k😢
