Powerful singer, simple song of love and extreme longing (my one prayer being no other words than samo your name). Marija Šerifović has had an incredible career in Serbia, and while it didn't start here, this was an unbelievable, momentous occasion not just for her, but for Serbia, standing on its own for the first time at Eurovision, a brave, strong, emotional step away from Montenegro, Jugoslavia, and decades of stoically endured pain. It is not often that a nation steps forward for the first time like this. Serbia showed all that it was worth, all that it could be. The rest of Europe could not deny it. A truly wonderful and historic winner. "Da je ime tvoje moja jedina molitva."
