My Scariest Near-Death Experiences!

Congratulations on being alive.  

When i was in the caribbean, a mango fell from a tree a meter in front of me.  My entire life flashed before me.

This past Winter, I got trapped between two snowbanks in my car. They were 8 feet tall. I was spinning. I couldn't open the front doors more than 2". I crawled into the back, and those doors wouldn't open either. I am 50% disabled. I finally crawled back to the drivers seat, and was able to get the window down. I dug myself into the snowbank, and eventually onto the snow, then to the front of the car. I fell down, and couldn't get to my feet for what seemed like a long time. I finally gained my legs, and got indoors. I had no phone, and I was really scared. I am over 50, and I have never felt panic like that before. Good on your rescues!!!

Very interesting stories.  You showed much bravery rescuing the puppy.  
My scariest near death experience or one of them anyway, was when mountain climbing in the Adirondacks in New York State.  We weren't roped up or anything because it didn't seem that treacherous but there was a section with some water running down over some moss covered slate rock and was very slippery.  I slipped and started sliding down the mountain.  I shot past my friends, moving very quickly.  I travelled quite a way down the mountain and thought I was going to die.  I saw my whole life flash before my eyes but I ran into a boulder part way down and stopped.  I broke a tooth and two fingers.  My friends took me to the nearby, village doctor who splinted my fingers.  My broken tooth was killing me but it was an 8 hour drive back to our homes in Buffalo and I didn't want my friends to miss out on the time we had planned for the mountains so I toughed it out for the next two days.  Fortunately, someone had some vodka in their backpack so we made screwdrivers with vodka and Tang which kept me from being in too much agony till the morning when the hangover kicked in.

On may 6th at school my class got in a circle and my teacher said she had some bad news. My heart started beating. Soon as she said "Last night DeeDee died". I frozen in shock. Everyone started to cry even my teacher. DeeDee died in a house fire age 11. When we went to her house it was black and burned. Her 5 year old sister is ok. Her parents are in pain of sadness. She had her dog Simba when she died. Yep, her dog died with her. Sad but atleast they are together.

Oh my God! Those experiences seem really traumatising! The worst thing that happened to me was when I jumped into a deep lake and ran out of air before reaching the surface! But I was okay

My scariest near death experience was when I was in Costa Rica where a giant, metal ceiling fan fell three inches behind me!!

When I was a like 6 or 7 yaers old, I tripped and almost fell with my face straight into the open hatch of the mower. That was a close call. And like to years later my Grandma run me over in her car. but I was lucky my left leg was just broken trhee times. Lucky me!

Only thing iv got is I almost over dosed on prescription drugs my freshmen year in high school...Now an old man of 22 Iv taken life in a far more serious direction and would gladly love to settle down with a kraut! :P
