I trade a similar system, that have termed "failure to launch" look for price to fake out of a range and then reject at level of resistance/support, giving an indication that price could not sustain the break (fake out), that's the confirmation to enter. You need to use higher time-frame to have a directional bias.

e.g if you have a long bias, you look for price to fake out in the opposite direction.

Seems like you need to look at the nearest support and resistance levels outside the contraction zone, to take advantage of it. He's right about the Bollinger bands. That's a great tool for visualising the contractions.

This is just watered down ICT stuff. Good on him for using it to his own advantage, but yeh he didn't come up with this. ICT first posted this back on BabyPips in the 2000s and he's delivered greater and greater detail since. Pretty much everyone is a watered down ICT clone.

I have a question. if I look at a chart on a weekly basis and sometimes on a month basis then I see for every crypto currency that there is a center in the chart. if you cut the graph in half at this point and then reverse the rising line and stretch it out, it is identical to the falling half, only the angle is different and the rising part has shrunk. With this outcome, I can only say that all crypto is manipulated with software (AI) and everyone buys cryptocurrency that is in reality 25/30 percent more expensive than the real value.
