I am a 29 year old adult who was recently diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is my journey to bridge the gap between myself and the world.

The harsh truth is you have to learn neurotypical communication and adapt to it to win in life. Yes it’s good to spread awareness of natural autistic communication but we shouldn’t expect the world to accommodate us at least not fully in our lifetime.

Thank you Ebony for explaining that to me because my stepson Jamarcus has autism and his mom passed away about two years ago he had to come live with us and it's a challenge to be patient with him so I appreciate you for explaining certain things to me.😘
