NEW Longines Hydroconquest GMT - A Budget Sub?!

Here is a hands-on review for the new GMT Longines! The New Longines Hydroconquest GMT is perfect and I think it could be a great budget Rolex Submariner.

This is really a great improvement for Longines. I saw it in London and I can say it’s a real masterpiece, especially the blue one. Defenitevely an heavy upgrade vs the previous version.

Never had Longines really on my list. Especially the Hydroconquest was a bit too large for my taste and I didn’t like the clasp. The dial is based on the vintage Longines Admiral diver, I like it. I was considering the Longines Admiral but could not find a decent example.

Nice review! I have the exact same watch and just like yours (correct me if I'm wrong!) the date seems misaligned, sits a bit high in its window. I almost sent mine back for service, but decided to live with it for now.

I dont know exactly why, but that older automatic HydroConquest is one of my favorite watches ever made.

It feels so good in-hand and on-wrist. The quality is much higher than the pricetag.

I used to not be too much of a fan of diver style watches but the HydroConquest GMT made them look appealing again, especially the 41mm model. This review also made want to pick one up, so thanks for that I guess haha.

I like it! The bracelet for sure being all brushed and the quick adjust is great. Looks like Mido Oceanstar and sub had a kid... but yea... you're right, once you get close to a TUDOR price point it's tough. Definitely on discount it would be a consideration. Hope it's not too top heavy. My Tag 300M Aquaracer is starting to become too heavy for normal use.
