Of course I knew DJ Sammy’s version was a cover! I grew up in the 80’s, so the original was new during my youth. By the time DJ Sammy released his version, I was 18 and in college. In fact I went out and bought that CD, which is still sitting on the shelf with the rest of my CD collection.
