2019 KTM 300XC Vertex, TMR and FMF

Hey guys, today we are looking at this beautiful trail weapon build by Jay Clark!
No need for a TPI bike, The Lectron seems to feel like Fuel Injection and runs great at any elevation. We go up on tooth the rear from the stock 50T to a 51 to help in hill climbs. The head cut, carb, pipe/silencer and V-Force make this the ultimate trail machine. Custom all Orange plastic look. Race Tech suspension set up for Trail Riding. Gummy Dunlop mounted up to Tusk wheels for Mega trail traction. Vertex Pistons

Love my lectron, no sensors no added weight, no special spark plugs, great at all elevations, and no oil injection. I'd rather mix my own thanks....

So, when you spend over $10, 000 for your dirt bike....is there any part that you don't have to re-buy?? For a trail bike my philosophy is buy inexpensive, ride & enjoy the crap out of it, fix what breaks, do what's needed to keep it running....

I had a 38mm HV Lectron from Slavens on my 2017 KTM 250XC and it was terrible.
Robbed the bottom end power and even with adjustments to the 5-1 metering rod it did not run good when bringing it up to mountain elevations.
In the desert it ran just ok, but hard to tune it perfectly because it doesn't have an airscrew and tough to get rid of hanging idle even when richen the main screw and fiddling with the rod. Perhaps it work better on the 300s? The only thing the Lectron is good for IMO is great MPGs and a cool looking float bowl! ha
Anyway the Kehein PWK carb is a much better carb with so many more tuning possibilities.

Beauty of a bike but I've tried the lectron on my '18 TX300 and it was far from plug and play, that thing needed a ton of tuning and was never as good as my modified Mikuni. Maybe better MPGs but not by a lot.

I’m 5 hours in on my 2019 300 xc-w tpi and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I’m sure I’ll run into problems but it’s a dirt bike. I expect to break stuff. My previous bike was a 2018 250 xcf and I loved it but I’m happy with the change. For now.

That is an awesome xc. Lectrons make a world of difference. Have fun riding it Rado. Keep up the awesome and informative vids
