You did a great job on this! I have a 85 spree that I'm trying to get the headlight/instrumentation cover and the cowling right below it off so that I can repair and paint them. It is a struggle. Do you have any tips on this? I can't remove the black screws on the side because a nut of some kind must be turning inside.

Hey man! Just ran across this video I just picked up a 1984 Honda Spree Nq50 it sat in a guys garage for 4 years and he couldn’t get it running. I’ve cleaned every nook and cranny in the carb, I’ve emptied out the gas tank and re filled it, we cleaned out the exhaust to the best of our ability, change the spark plug, air filter and we can get it on but it just bogs out after a few minutes then it takes forever to try and get started again. Any tips would help!

A couple questions. I opened mine up last week and it was full of oil everywhere. Crankcase. Piston. Spark plug. Drive belt. Muffler. You get the idea. Any ideas what might be causing that? Faulty oil pump? I didn't see you talk about the Reed valve in your videos. Did you mess with that piece at all? Also - I'm thinking about doing what you did and try running it with pre-mix first to get it to start. If I can pass that stage then I'll deal with the oil pump. Can you share what was your mix ratio between gas and oil? Thanks!
