Dave Rave LLC is a minority owned, Athens-based entertainment company founded by Dave Alexander and Brandon Thompson. This is our entry for the Start it Up Athens! business grant contest.

Dave Rave is the reason im a DJ hands down. The inspiration that i get from going to the shows that these guys put on only makes me want to be a part of it all. These guys deserve all the help that they can get for anything they want.

I've been a designer for Dave Rave for over a year now & it has been a great experience. I started before they were hiring a lot of student interns, but in a short time there are now multiple designers, marketing & PR students, as well as fashion/merchandise students to work on all aspects of the business. I really appreciate how much Brandon & Dave value the importance of design & the branding of their company. They are extremely passionate about what they do & are great people to work for.

Dave Rave does amazing things for the city of Athens and provides a great venue for students and community members to get together and have fun! These guys provide great opportunities for students to get involved through their marketing and campaigning efforts. Their support of the local community is unrivaled as they have a great impact on the local businesses. I'd love to see Dave Rave win this grant - they are doing amazing things for Athens!

This group rocks the city every time they have a show. The Halloween Weekend (10/27/2012) Show they had drew crowds of youth from everywhere. No live band that night could compete with them. They can rock Athens and more. Thumbs up!

I can't imagine a better candidate for a start-it-up athens grant. Dave and Brandon have been bringing tons of attention and revenue to Athens for the last few years. Consistently they are bringing out-of-town guests to town, their following brings revenue to The Union and by-way of the court-street-shuffle other bars and thus the town itself. If you don't like this video I will hunt you down. No one deserves this grant more than these guys! What they do for the community is beyond music; it is an experience that brings people of all kinds together for the best nights of their lives.
