i have had several brands of inferds heaters. they all had fans. The only ones i have had that have optional fans are the ventless wall heaters.

All my infrared heaters have a fan and make noise. I love em though

I have a ceramic heater I bought years ago. It takes a while to heat up the room but oh boy it does a great job. But I hear the infrared heaters are so good so testing it out now. My temperature gauge says 72 but the heater says 76 so that’s weird. It feels cooler from the blower. So we will see.

I have both ceramic and infrared both with fan, I also has mica panel heater, in my opinion infrared is the best among the three.

I'm laughing so hard at you people in the comments because It appears some of you believe there are cool heaters out there. These are heaters ... they get hot.. period! If they don't, they can't possibly heat a room. You would be better off trying to make a square tire roll!

Google for yourselves "What happens if you sit tooo close to an infrared heater for too long" and see what results you get. I didn't know anything about this nor did I read it in the warning manual. Educate yourself and stay healthy. Take care.
