This is the Bi-pattern option of the all-around 9.8 Eternity. The 9.8 Eternity Dry Duodess is the first choice when a very versatile rope with perfect handling is required. New for Spring 2015 Mammut has reinvented their dry treatment process, as the UIAA has rolled out specific dry rope testing standards for the first time. The Eternity Dry rope has a coated core and sheath thanks to Mammut's patented COATINGfinish™ technology which creates lasting water and dirt repellency. It held onto only 1% of its weight in UIAA water repellency test making it an excellent choice for climbing in wet alpine conditions as well as sport climbs.
