This is one of my favorite types of horror: the sad type.

The boy isn’t there to kill you; he’s only there to make you feel ashamed of yourself for neglecting and leaving him to (supposedly) die in the bathtub. The boy seemed to have wanted to attack, but instead he lectures you in a calm voice.


The poor soul deserved better.

This is just heartbreaking, especially when it said “I know you heard me”. The little guy was crying for help and their parents didn’t give a damn!

It reminds me of this poem based on the theory of a mother leaving their infant child in a bath. “You locked me in the attic, with all my old toys”

A nice reminder to never leave children unattended near water. Specially those younger than 3 months because they cant hold their heads up themselves.

The way it says "I know you heard me" in such an accusatory way. It sounds less like the actual baby/child and more like the parent's manifestation of what it must think about him or her. They blame themselves for the loss of the child even if it was a horrible accident... and so does the entity.

The way he stands calmly, doesn’t scream, doesn’t make aggressive sounds, he just talks without even trying to attack, it seems to me that he just looks creepy, but he’s kind at heart.

i love this kind of horror sm because it doesn't have any flashy loud sounds or jump scares it's just calm and makes you feel unnerved

The top of his head being cut off symbolizes how his own life was cut short so abruptly, having no time to fully grow and live the life he deserved. He was only a child, it's likely that his brain may not have even been fully developed, which again is reflected here. Masterful.

This is exactly how it felt trying to shower and sleep after being assaulted the first time as a child. Crazy how you really captured this feeling I had.

This is actually more sad then terrifying, because he didn't even show any hostility, he seemed genuinely sad.

This hits me on a new level.
The boy is obviously mad and resentful for being neglected and left to die but in a way.. he seems sad not just because he died but because his parent is clearly remorseful and guilty about what they did, i can relate to that on a personal level. That feeling of guilt, sadness and regret of being mad at your caretaker and yelling at them only for that anger to turn into sadness as you see them show guilt and remorse. Seeing a parent cry or be sad is the saddest things a child can go through.
No matter how much resent or hate you may feel for them, in the end they are your family, your blood and you can never really bring yourself to hate them fully.

Theory - A mother (or father) left their baby in the bath and either out neglect or a desire to be rid of the child, let them drown and now the ghost of the baby is haunting them.
