This is the only thing you'd ever remember from this film.

The words to this song make me cry every time. Any time I see a beat up cat, afraid of humans, weary, I think of the words to this song and imagine how different that cat's life could be if someone would just "touch her". Excellent performance by Jennifer.

The whole point of memory is that grizabella wants to be touched and accepted back into the jellicles; yet victoria literally touches her multiple times

I love how Grizabella is a destitute alley cat, but still has the opportunity to get a perfect gel manicure.

She literally sings:, , TOUCH ME, it's so easy to leave me..." After she got touched 🤣🤣🤣

Honestly, Jennifer Hudson and Jason Derulo were great - their vocals are to notch.

Had they actually embraced the spiri of the original (no CGI, make it a stage-esque show, NO Corden or Rebel) this could've been better.

From Elaine Paige to Sara Brighton and Jennifer Hudson they have all brought to light the heart and soul of this amazing character. Each was amazing and exactly as they should be. I myself humbly say thank you to all of them for this song that has held my heart since I was 15 years old.

I own Cats the Broadway show on VHS and used to watch it obsessively when I was a child ❤ Memory was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE part of the play. The song would make me cry😢

Cats was not a fantastic movie. However, I think Jennifer Hudson killed it with this rendition of Memory. I wasn't familiar with the film or the broadway show when I watched this version of Cats, so when she sang, "Touch me, it's so easy to leave me, " it brought tears to my eyes. I just wasn't expecting it, something so raw and vulnerable. You could truly feel her giving it her all.

THIS is how this song was to be interpreted and emoted. Not the yelling/showy stereotypical “Broadway” voices of the ‘80’s (minus Buckley). It’s perfect with the one “belt” that Jennifer does here. Perfect.

Everyone hating on this couldn't hold a CANDLE to Jennifer. She's one of the greatest vocalists of our time and did a phenomenal job woth this. Most people on here just need to say out loud what they really feel...you hate that a black woman is singing it... just say it and live your truth out in the open.

The way most of the comments are saying Jennifer made this song bad, the movie was bad, can people just focus on what the movie represented?!

Like this movie showed the the true emotion of someone wanting another chance to try again at life and make better choices, to be someone new?!

Who cares who did it better, think about what this represented instead.
