Congrats to everyone who made it!! Even through a global pandemic, we did not back down!

Congratulations everyone from criminal justice and other programs as well!! We’ve completed this step of our journey only to move on to the next, and with that getting a dose of unprecedented reality, opening our eyes to the challenges and unique opportunities to learn and grow from! This adventure at SUNY Erie, my second college experience, has left me a wiser and more capable person, having met some
of the most amazing people who have supported and fostered my growth. I know I cannot name them all here but ESPECIALLY EVERYONE at the North Campus CJ Department(this is SUNY Erie’s hidden gem), Barbara Bohlen of PTK, Prof. Greg Gillis (and so many more I can go
on here A WHILE)you have given me a new purpose and direction, showing me my past itself is inconsequential, it’s what I do with it, pushing me to look within myself and turning it into an asset. You are exactly what this world needs now, as well as being the people who need to be teaching the next wave of those entering the CJS. This is just plain sad. Even high schools have come up with more creative ways to celebrate their graduates.
