The James Street Stairs Descent

DETAILS:
I was having difficulty with rendering my footage, so I changed the program I was using. The old program wouldn't keep my cuts where I placed them, and more often than not, the finished video would be glitchy. Another odd thing that it did was make the file size absolutely ENORMOUS compared to the raw file size. After trying every possible setting, and uninstalling and reinstalling the program multiple times on different hard drives, I finally changed to VideoPad Video Editor and had no problems whatsoever.

This footage was shot on a much sunnier day, and I used my new gimbal to help steady the footage. The Big Keddy Loop video had to be filmed at 2.7K so that I could use the in-camera stabilization program (EIS), but I found it made the video "warbly". With the gimbal, I was able to film at "4K" (which is actually 1800p). The section of the video filmed on the stairs isn't too bad, but you can definitely tell the difference a gimbal makes once I reach the bottom.

GEAR:
I should also note that the camera I am using is the Campark X30, which is not as good as a GoPro (don't use indoors unless you have PLENTY of studio lights set up), but it is significantly cheaper. The gimbal is the FeiyuTech Vimbal 2A, and I am quite happy with it. It is fairly cheap, and because of the cheap price tag it has limitations, but I think it is well worth the price for an amateur like me. Also, it has a good app to go with it (whereas the Campark app is absolute garbage)
