Oingo Boingo Former Members perform "Forbidden Zone" Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Golden State Theatre in Monterey.
"Forbidden Zone" is the title track for the 1980 film of the same name. Directed by Richard Elfman (Danny Elfman's brother), the movie included a performance from The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, a Los Angeles theater troupe. Later they morphed into the 80's band Oingo Boingo with frontman Danny Elfman until the band dissolved in 1995 with Danny focusing on soundtracks. Oingo Boingo Former Members keeps the music alive with five of the original Oingo Boingo band members.
