I can totally attest to this.. I was friends with a guy who lived overlooking (the round towers occasionally shown in parking lot shots) where the last seasons were filmed (Stamford, CT) and we legitimately saw people leave from the backstage into the parking lot.. Jerry would come out and sign autographs, and people would get in a limo to head back to wherever they came from.
