Here's a short video showing the 12-DOF Quadruped Dog Robot that I have been working on for over 3 years.
The robot's software runs over an Nvidia Jetson Nano and uses the Odrive Robotics Motor Controllers for actuating 12 Brushless Motors. Currently, the higher-level controllers for navigation are open-loop, but all the motions use jerk-optimized trajectories for moving forward and full-body pose manipulation. Future work involves stabilizing the gait using Optimal Controllers and feedback from sensors.
