Fun fact, you can damage V2 while he's in cutscene mode. But, only in Clair De Lune, and also only with coins.

I think an even better idea for this mode would be to strip you of all guns except the basic marksman and then as you beat more bosses you get offered more guns which allows you to create diverse load outs.
