Kotlin is an open source, statically typed language designed by Jet brains. It has both the features of object oriented programming and functional programming. Kotlin is interoperable with java that means both the languages can share and use the information and just like java compiler , the kotlin compiler also generates the byte code which can run on JVM. I wouldn't call Kotlin easier to learn, just because it's similar to Java. Dart might be easier for you to learn if you only know JavaScript. Also, Dart and Flutter relatively recently "received" null safety. Other than that, great video c:
