PARADYES spoiled my healthy HAIR 😭 | No bleach is a scam🚫

Hi everyone. I made a video on trying paradyes 5 months ago in May 2024. Now, my hair has worsened with time. My hair was always too notch and i used to take a lot of care of the same. I always wanted bum length hair but now I’ll have to chop off a long portion because of Paradyes spoiling my hair. I will have to rework on betterment of my hair quality. Paradyes not only made my hair prone to breakage but also made my hair rough, dry and flaky. All of this despite using their anti fade conditioner. It’s all a scam. This is my personal opinion and I wouldn’t recommend this brand to anyone.

Love,
Janhavi❤️

Finally, someone made a video about this. I applied the Cherry Coke color, and even after 4-5 months, the color didn't go away, it only became lighter and the hair got so so so rough. I was so disheartened.

Thanks for spreading this information. <3

In this time when most influencers are always giving fake reviews you are much appreciated. Appreciate your authenticity.

Thank you so much! I was confused about which shade to choose, but I accidentally came across your video while searching for the perfect Paradys shade for me. I was planning to use the color, but now I've decided not to. Thank you for saving my hair.

So true, literally I have experienced the same. I used the same colour and in May’24 and my hair are naturally shiny though they are not that voluminous but after colouring few days they were okay but after one month they got so frizzy, split ends, like a jhaadu. I got them chopped around 4-5 inches few days back because they were so damaged. Now I am just focusing on natural remedies for damage repair.

Finally an honest review!! I also fell for these products as the hype was so high. They are absolutely rubbish.. Please don't believe everything you see on social media & if any influencer is promoting some product that also doesn't mean that they are good.. I used the glossy tint in the shade hazel brown & that made me look like an old aunt earlier I was so excited, but it turned out really very very bad & after that I have to re-color my hair into a darker shade and this whole process made my hair so dull, damage, dry & frizzy

Absolutely relating to this video so much, I literally used their red hair colour I mean now it doesn’t go away and exactly same my hair literally feels like jhaadu and I mean they weren’t this bad, dk why this brand is not into honest marketing but it sucks so bad now a hair color so cheap but the price so big

This is so true. I have low porosity hair, so it anyway needs extra moisturizing always. First I used their bleach and a temporary hair colour. It was smooth and lush in the beginning but within few weeks my hair started drying, I got it trimmed then. Later I used no bleach hair color from mid to tip of my hair. And this time my hair's quality was completely destroyed. I used their shampoo and conditioner from the beginning to protect my hair but nothing helped. Then I tried hydrating and repair masks for my hair. I oil my hair before everytime I wash it.
After all this I had to chop off my long hair till shoulder length. 😢
It was so sad. Never repeating this mistake!

Hydrogen peroxide is one of the ingredients of this glossy tint formula, which in fact is a bleaching agent. It is not only bad for hair but some people might also feel irritation in skin because of that. I am glad you went with hazel because that is still an okay colour, I got cinnamon brown and it turned my hair orangish red. The parts closer to my roots looked like I had applied mehendi. It made me look old. And ofcourse it is not going to fade away. So now we wait for it to outgrow. What a waste.

I have tried their semi-permanents when I had bleached hair and that formula was actually good. This one, is BAD.

Thanks for the video.

I strongly agree, I used the cherry coke shade and it f*cked my hair badly, they’ve become dry no matter how much haircare I do. The breakage is crazy! I have to cut them all now

I’m literally struggling to get rid of this colour. It’s getting lighter and lighter day by day and it is really annoying. Also, it’s drying my hair I have unfortunately did the entire hair from the root to the tip, I really can’t help, but to wait it until it grows to chop it off, I wish I never coloured my hair.😢

Any hair color for that matter is gonna be like this only. After years of experimenting with different brands, i can definitely say. None of them are worth it if you think from your hair's health perspective, yes i liked how my hair looked initially till it faded which tempts to color again, damage again and you start looking for different treatments in the guise of "hair care" this whole industry is scam based only that way. I've completely stopped coloring since years and hair quality has never been better. I do get tempted to color it again though, its like sabko pata hai accha nahi hota. Like sabko pata hai dont drink alcohol but kabhi kabhi chalta hai, bas ye bhi kuch vaise hi hai 😅

Never colour or highlight your hair on your own, at home, just to save a bit of money. In my opinion, don't experiment on your hair at all! It's an asset for us (women). Better let a professional (experienced one, obvio) do it for you, even if it costs thousands.

I agree completely
The same colour, I used and it showed beautifully in the first two uses, and after that my hair quality changed to the worst it could it went literally brittle and the orange that you’re talking about that .From beautiful black to orange.
I had to get my hair chopped some 4 to 5 inches and for a person like me, it takes really long to grow hair and it was really really bad,
Don’t don’t try this product and all.

1.They mention that the colour will not fade into your natural hair colour. The ruby fades into a brown and so the brown will obviously fade into a lighter colour. Should've checked before buying
2. It is normal to lose 100 strands of hair in a day

This is a reminder to everyone that ANY permanent hair dye color will 100% have bleaching agents. It might not have bleach itself, but it will always have a bleaching agent.

The logic is simple - colors cannot show up on dark hair. So, you have to lighten your hair for the color to show up. In permanent dyes, the bottle of developer is a bleaching agent. When you mix your colorant & developer and put it on your hair, the developer bleaches your hair and the colorant deposits the color. Over time, the color will fade away, leaving behind the bleached uncolored hair. Based on the level of developer you've used, the bleached hair can vary from orange to yellow on Indian/Asian hair.

As someone who has been dyeing my hair for a lot of years, Paradyes isn't wrong in this situation - ya'll unfortunately fell for their marketing, which was clearly meant to target people who have zero understanding of how hair dyeing works. Most users don't read the leaflets in their product but it clearly says that their product has no blue bleach (blue bleach is what we use to lift hair to platinum blonde in one sitting) but instead it has hydrogen peroxide - which is a bleaching agent. So technically y'all can't even sue paradyes :///

Any professional hairdresser would NEVER recommend you to permanent dye your hair to these bright colors on Indian hair, because of 2 main reasons:
1) Asian hair requires a lot more powerful bleaching agents compared to European hair for hair lightening, which means an Asian person will have bad hair quality after a lightening session but a European person will have a much better hair quality after the same session.
2) Lighter colors like Paradyes' Cherry Coke or Hazelnut WILL NOT STAY ON YOUR HAIR. I know the look 'dark' after application but in reality these colors are too light for absorption into your porous bleached hair, and will start bleeding out everytime you wash your hair.

For those who are struggling with their hair quality - please try conditioners and masks with bonding agents to get back your hair quality. My recommendation is the K18 hair mask - it is super expensive but nothing works as good as this over time. If you can afford, go to a salon and get the Olaplex 10 step bonding treatment as well.

For those trying to cover up the bleached roots - the only solution here is to buy a demi-permanent hair color that matches your original hair color and dye the bleached hair. Demi-permanent hair color does not have any beaching agents, it is basically a hair mask with the hair dye. Paradyes' Top Up Color jars are an example of demi-permanent hair color, but I would personally recommend to invest in Arctic Fox or Manic Panic (both are a little expensive as they are International brands but the result is much better than that of any Indian brand).
