In this video we shall be comparing two countries in Southern Africa to see which one comes first in terms of geography, population, economy and why not tourism. Though they are unique in their own ways they somehow have similarities such as its desert nature and the maintenance of wildlife. Many factors are going to decide which one is a better option such as the basic reason for the trip and what you intend to accomplish in either of the countries.

GOEGRAPHY AND DEMOGRAPHY
Namibia on the other hand is officially the republic of Namibia. It is also a country in the southern Africa. Its western border is the Atlantic Ocean, Zambia and Angola to the north, Botswana to the east and South Africato the south and east. Although it doesn’t border Zimbabwe, less than 200 metres of the Zambezi River separates the two countries.Its capital and largest city is Windhoek. As at 2020, Namibia has a population of 2,744,637people with 3.3 persons per km2 within a total surface area of 8.242.90km2. The population’s 97.5% are Christians, 2.0% religiously affiliated,0.3% Islam and 0.2% religiously tradition. The Namib Desert, after which the country is named, is considered to be the oldest desert in the world; Namibia is the first country in the world to incorporate the protection of the environment into its constitution; some 14% of the land is protected, including virtually the entire Namib Desert coastal strip; Namib-Naukluft National Park (49,768 sq km), is the largest game park in Africa and one of the largest in the world
Namibia is one of the hottest countries in the world with an average of 300days of sunshine.During the months December to March it is generally hot throughout the country. The main rainy season starts in January (often with thundershowers). The vegetation turns into a lush green.
During April to May rains might still occur but the temperatures slowly start to drop.
From June to September it is winter in Namibia. No more precipitation is received (except in the far south – in the winter rain areas) and during the day temperatures are moderately warm, the nights are severely cold, while in the inland and desert overnight frost occurs. The vegetation changes from green to brown during this season.
In October and November temperatures rise increasingly and it gets hot again. The so called “little rainy season” starts and brings a most welcome end to the long dry period.
Namibia has a larger population and its population growth rate increases faster than Botswana. While Botswana has a friendly climate and about 70% of its population are urbanised than Namibia with a very harsh climate from the Atlantic coast. So Botswana takes it home for this round.
