The Story of the Broken Promise of the GTX 690s...

Have finished testing and will be dropping the video tomorrow, it will definitely have some surprises in it for sure...! Though today is that story about why somethings just take so long, and this testing wasn't of the 2 gtx 690s (which makes QUAD SLI), wasn't exactly an easy thing.

Yeah gotta say I find the 690's to be interesting cards and definitely wanna see what they can do.
We may not see dual gpu cards like this again from Nvidia since they seem to be moving away from sli in all its forms

Funny those older dual chip cards. Right when the mining craze hit in April 2017 someone was selling 2 7990’s for $300 usd or $200 each. I needed a new video card but wanted a 580 for midrange but the price had just jumped from $219 to $269 for the 8GB model, so I figured I’d just wait a week or two for a decent model to come back in stock for $219 (they had the Red Devil 8GB 580 on sale the previous week for $203.95 so $269 seemed idiotic). The 7990’s sat for a week. I almost bought them twice, and, well let’s just say I did a bit of cursing at myself after the fact.

Anyway, like I said, can’t wait to see the vid, and don’t worry, I doubt any followers feel neglected by your 5-10 vids a week.

Back when I was working and fixing computers I upgraded a guy to 2 680s and gave me his GTX 295. That was my first experience with dual GPU's in one card and I remember that sucker could game even for how old it was.
