Walt Disney Animation Studios initially announced a Zootopia short form series coming to Disney plus on Investors Day in 2020. At D23 Expo this year, Disney gave fans more information about the long-awaited show. And whilst fans are very excited for the long-awaited 6-part series. We can't help but still want a Zootopia feature film sequel. And while we don't currently have many details from Disney about the second film in the franchise, that doesn't stop us from speculating as to where the house of mouse could take Zootopia 2. and that's where we list makers come in. So today we're going to be counting down 5 pitches for Zootopia 2.

NEWS ABOUT THE PROJECT 📰
The long-awaited Disney Plus Zootopia Plus series is finally set to debut later this year, and fans are eager to see what the new show will be about. While not much is known about the plot at this point, it is rumored that the series will focus on the relationship between Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde, two of the main characters from the 2016 film "Zootopia." The series is said to be set in a world where animals have evolved to walk and talk like humans, and it will explore the themes of prejudice and discrimination that were present in the film. With its all-star cast and intriguing premise, the Disney Plus Zootopia Plus series is sure to be a hit with both kids and adults alike.

When it comes to the big screen sequel, for now, there's nothing confirmed. Back in 2019, according to Movieweb, rumors circulated that the late Tommy "Tiny" Lister had informed a fan at a meet and greet that two sequel movies were in the works. However, this information has never been confirmed nor denied by Disney. As far as we know, there has been movement on any sequel project. The good news. For those concerned that they've seen the last of this universe, Disney formally announced during an Investor Day presentation in December 2020 that "Zootopia" will continue — in TV form, on Disney+.

The TV series dives deeper into the lives of some of the feature film’s most intriguing characters, including Fru Fru, the newly married arctic shrew; Gazelle’s talented tiger dancers; and the sloth full of surprises, Flash.
It will be one of Disney Animation’s first-ever original animated series, joining the ranks of the Big Hero 6 series, Baymax, the Princess and the Frog series, Tiana, and a Moana series.

I feel like we should see more than just mammals. I mean why do we only see mammals? Maybe we could see some reptiles. Or if we don't we could still see some cool mammals that would be good additions. Such as kangaroos, platypuses, bats, echidnas, pangolins, anteaters, and maybe some other kinds of animals.

Zootopia was your classic buddy cop movie. They should stick with that formula. I have ideas for 2 sequels. Z2: Someone is trying to set Nick up by using a paid fox thug to immitate him and attack prey that he has interactions with. Nick and Judy go on the lam to clear his name, just to find out it is a group of fox prejudiced thugs who was once Nick's scout troop. In a bizarre twist, the fox turns out to be Nick's brother, he never knew he had. Z3: Gazelle has a stalker who has taken out her tiger bodyguards. After eluding ZPD once too often, Internal Affairs gets involved and the head of internal affairs is Gazelle Superfan, Janice Kudu. Guess what animals she is? After an intense investigation, and chase to keep Gazelle safe, Gazelle and Janice are separated from Nick and Judy. So they go to get a profile on the stalker from former Mayor and inmate Dawn Bellwether. They get to the prison and find her wool sheared and everyone wearing sweaters. Begrudgingly she helps them and when they find Gazelle, she is now a hostage of the stalker, and failed aspiring singer, Janice Kudu. Who suffer from a deadly case of sour grapes, as she lost a career starting opportunity to Gazelle. Which is her motive for wanting to take her out.

If a sequal ever happens i wanna see Reptiles and Amphibians added to the mix as a much more dangerous group of species that are fine with harming others as they've done it for millions of years. Like snakes completely lack the part of the brain to feel love so that already can give a great villain

As much as I'd love a series or a sequel to zootopia, Disney has kinda lost all credibility with me on sequels, remakes, reboots, and series over the last decade, and dont even get me started on live action reboots. I'd probably rag on their newer IPs... If they had any worth really talking about.

I hope the series is good, but I dont have high expectations.

I do hope that Disney keeps Domestic Dogs and Cats out of Zootopia... It makes Zootopia unique... And it makes a lot of sense for there to be no primates... No primates no humans... No humans no Domestic Dogs and Cats... If they want to make Zootopia more unique... Keep birds and reptiles non sapient... No animal Movie or T.V. Show and the like will be its equal.
