The sequel promises to bring back fan-favorite characters like Nick Wilde, Mr. Big, Clawhauser, and Flash the Sloth, while also introducing new characters, including Ke Huy Quan as Gary, a creepy, slithery, and highly venomous viper. This will be the first time reptiles appear in the Zootopia world, adding a new twist to the story.

The exclusive clip shown at D23 featured Judy and Nick searching for Gary in the Marsh Market, a lively new setting filled with semi-aquatic animals like hippos, seals, and sea lions.
