Minimalist baby essentials | Newborn + NEW PARENT essentials

my TOP TEN list of [bare] essentials for a newborn and a NEW parent. It's not easy to become a parent and transition into a dramatically different phase of life. There are a few things that will help you with that transition, but there are A LOT of things that will make false promises and clutter up your home. My best advice is to go slowly. I am so happy I found your channel. We grew up as a minimalist family of 8. And when i had my first child, thirteen years ago, minimalism went out the window! Because of marketing, parenting advice, hand-me-downs, mom guilt, and the never-ending baby competitions parents do. We now also have a 5, 4, and 2 year-old and we have 1/4 of what my first child had. And are so much happier. ❤

Amazing content. Self-care when you're a brand new mom can be as simple as taking a hot shower, taking the time to lather lotion all over your body instead of just your arms and legs. Shaving your legs. Or even just detangling and combing out your hair fully and feeling how refreshing that feels. Keep it simple Mamas. ❤
