#Video 86b (!)
This video actually continues from #86 - about QGIS MapTips.

I show you how to use an existing field that contains a path to a photo so that the photo appears in the Feature Form.
Once your field is populated, you can switch that field from being a TEXT type to an ATTACHMENT type. Then just set it to IMAGE.
The image will be displayed in the Feature Form.
Note you can set relative paths as needed.
In the video I also show how to then add another record with a new photo.
There are several ways to display photos - this is just one.

Thanks so much this is really helpful. I'm trying to learn how to use QGIS and incorporate code as well as add pictures to various points on a map for web development reasons and these are super helpful.

I use an Object Storage bucket, such as Digital Ocean for the links so I don't have to worry about carrying over the file to another computer in the exact file path.

You don't get a preview, but it's better than nothing.

You can even link sites and other files.

Thanks for the helpful vid. If my photos are attachments within a File Geodatabase, how would this change the workflow as I don't have a hard path on a drive/network to refer to?

Would you know how to attach an image from an external storage?

Can we link some document e.g a word file or pdf also instead of photo?

I watched the video and I really appreciate you sharing such informative content. Based on what I understood, I would like to link the file path of my computer's photo directory and read it from the attribute table. My question is, if I share this project with someone else or use a different computer, would it still be implemented in the same way?

this is a very cool feature; if you could demonstrate how to display the same images in reports, that would be even better... for some reason the same path seems not to work in reports.
