2018 PhD Lab Coat Ceremony: Dean Charney

Dennis S. Charney, MD, Anne and Joel Ehrenkranz Dean of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and President for Academic Affairs for the Mount Sinai Health System, welcomes graduate students to the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. While the white coat ceremony is a standard ritual for MD students, ISMMS is the only school in New York, and one of the few institutions in the country, to celebrate PhD students in a similar manner.
